Tim and Cyndi have been living in Parker on their ranch for over 24 years. Their business began with raising horses, but quickly took a change when Cyndi saw the incredible, large eyes of the alpaca. She was drawn to their gentle demeanor and quiet soft touch. After purchasing their first two alpacas in Navasota, Texas, Cyndi began learning how to process the fleece from skirting, cleaning, carding, spinning, knitting, crocheting, and weaving. Tim does the shearing of the couples alpacas, with the help of animal loving friends! The couple purchased laying hens shortly thereafter. Tim and Cyndi have three children, each of whom are involved in the daily chores on the ranch. Two of the children have been actively involved in FFA with animals including a pig, rabbits, meat chickens, and Brangus cattle. Though the "country" atmosphere has changed over the 24 years the couple has lived in Parker, they still love living out away from the hustle of city life. The stars are much brighter when you get away from the city! Check out the blog to catch the latest going on at the ranch. You might just get the itch to get away for awhile, too!
